Description

The Mouse Immunoglobulin Isotyping Kit is designed to characterize the isotypes of murine monoclonal antibodies from cell culture supernatants or purified antibody preparations. Its one-step ELISA method allows the analysis of up to 12 or 60 samples, depending on the kit format, in approximately 30 minutes.

The kit contains microwell strips pre-coated with capture antibodies and ready-to-use reagents. Color-coded solutions facilitate pipetting steps. Detection is based on an HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG (H+L) antibody and TMB colorimetric development, followed by absorbance measurement at 450 nm, with an additional reading at 620 nm according to the protocol.

The method enables the identification of heavy chains corresponding to the IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, and IgM isotypes, as well as Kappa and Lambda light chains, as specified in the specificity section of the documentation. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C and must not be frozen. After opening, the reagents should be used within two months and handled carefully to avoid contamination.

For research use only.
